The band started in 1991, right when all their influences were breaking up. They were, then, the only band really doing the youth crew style for a period of time. Mouthpiece released two 7"s, 1991's self titled and 1995's Face Tomorrow, and an LP, 1994's What Was Said, all on Mike Hartsfield's New Age Records.
